A Bible Teaching Ministry
Simple Reverent Worship
Warm Christian Fellowship
An Outreach & Mission Heart
A Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Eastern Australia
Known locally as the Free Presbyterian Church, the Congregation was established in 1853.
We are a Bible-focused Church, where the preaching and studying of God’s infallible Word
forms the foundation for our church life. We are a theologically conservative, Protestant,
evangelical church which traces its roots back through the Reformation in Scotland, and
ultimately to the church of the apostles.
Our church leaders agree with the teachings of the Bible as summarized in the Westminster
Confession of Faith.
Our worship is simple and reverent, consisting of praise, prayer, bible reading and
preaching, led by our minister or elder. For our praise we offer song through use of the
150 Psalms of Scripture, in a form suitable for singing.
